Ok so some of you might have noticed that i accidently wrote 2008 yesterday(i changed it now) whoops sorry i guess i'm still getting used to the new year ^^ So anyways remember on the homepage i have a few sites you all should check out!! Good news about New Moon from director Chris Weitz:
I'm very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in New Moon and that he's doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer.
The characters in Stephenie's books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series. But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part. I think that fans of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon; and I'm looking forward to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film.

I'd just like to add that I was very much a part of this decision. My first priority was always what was best for New Moon—what was going to give us the best possible movie. I'm truly thrilled that Taylor was the one who proved to the director, to Summit, and to me that he is the best possible Jacob we could have. Hey everyone you guys rock for still reading my site on a daily basis!!! ♥ you all!!! so here is what i've figured out.....: Since 2008 is almost over, I thought I would take a minute to congratulate Stephenie on a successful year. A lot of very exciting things have happened this year, and it has been fun for those of us who are fans of the writing to follow along.
Several major media outlets have also noted the success, and (as long as I am posting something that Stephenie probably wouldn't approve of) I thought I would post a few of the links for those of you who haven't heard about the recognition and praise that she has received for the year of 2008:
OK, I know that the AZ Republic may not be as big as TIME, but it is a very cool experience to be able to open up the paper and be surprised by an article about a family member, so I thought I would include it. Hey guys,
There's been a lot of worry and speculation on the boards lately, and I want to let you know what's going on.
First of all, like you, I'm sad that Catherine is not continuing on with us for New Moon. I'm going to miss her, not just as a brilliant director, but also as a friend. She has such a distinct, authentic voice that did amazing things for Twilight. I'm looking forward to every movie she does in the future.
And she didn't leave us empty handed. We still get the benefits of her amazing casting and the beautiful visual world she created. This foundation puts us in a good place for New Moon.
Summit Films is moving forward with a new director for New Moon. They've asked Chris Weitz, director of American Pie, About a Boy, and The Golden Compass, to join us, and I am very pleased to announce that he's agreed to be a part of our Twilight world. I've had the chance to talk to Chris, and I can tell you that he is excited by the story and eager to keep the movie as close to the book as possible. He is also very aware of you, the fans, and wants to keep you all extremely happy. (Torches and pitchforks are not going to be necessary.)
I'm excited to work with Chris and I think he brings a lot to the table, not the least of which for me is that he wrote the screenplay for and directed one of my favorite movies of all time, About a Boy. I'm really looking forward to seeing his vision for New Moon.
Below is a letter from Chris to you. I think you'll get a glimpse in this note of how cool it's going to be having Chris as part of our community.
One more thing, unrelated but fun: I finally got around to posting a few pictures from the premiere on the Twilight movie page.

So, I'm happy to announce that i was able to see Twilight in theaters and it was fantastic!!! Unfortunately i will not be posting the ups and downs for a few weeks to come so i won't spoil anything for anyone ^^ Now onto news. I know your thinking "how can there still be news? Breaking Dawn is out and Twilight is in theaters. what's left?" Well i found out last night on www.stepheniemeyer.com that.....NEW MOON IS OFFICIALLY BEING FILMED! that's right the Second book to our favorite series is currently getting ready to be filmed! and so the wait begins!

The movie is awesome! I hope that didn't spoil too much for anyone. Due to my connections in Hollywood, I was invited to watch the premiere in LA. It was amazing. I wasn't planning on changing the look of the site for the release of the movie, but after watching it I feel it is necessary to show my excitement by adding the image above to all of the Twilight pages. Alright! So the wait is almost over! As Twilight the Movie edges closer to existence to our world and more trailers begin to appear you will start to see mistakes like: When did Bella ever suggest Cryptonite? When did they climb trees? Why did she ask Edward's age in the meadow and not his silver Volvo when they are driving back from Port Angelos? Why did Edward get out of the car to take car of those guys? That didn't happen in the book. In fact in Midnight Sun(The partial draft on www.stepheniemeyer.com) it is said that Edward went home and Carlisle took car of the men who were after Bella. So why did they change that? Edward specifically left them alone bcuz he did not want to disappoint Carlisle by killing them. Now they have changed Edward's respect for his family's secret and the dignity he had to not kill them and instead tell Carlisle. They changed Edward's intelligence, i only say this bcuz Edward was smart enough to fight against the urge to kill them and ask Carlisle on the right thing to do rather then work on instinct. As i was saying! There's a lot of opinions out there and so i have created the discussion page! so go check it out! thanks much!

It has been confirmed today that the Twilight Soundtrack is the #1 most-selling album this week in the U.S. according to Billboard! I'm sorry i didn't put up any news yesterday i got sick and i wasn't able to get to a computer. So here is today's news straight from www.stepheniemeyer.com :
Twilight Movie News (and yes, there are only 11 days left!):
For those of you who have emailed me about the Twilight Talent Tour (see October 31st post), I am very sorry. I promised to post more information, and I forgot because the information was never forwarded to me. If you are interested, click here for the complete list of locations and rules.
And that is not the only thing that I feel guilty about. Over the weekend I read several movie blogs that discussed the pre-sales of movie tickets. All of the articles that I read mentioned that a lot of showings from the opening weekend are already sold out. Sites like Fandango and MovieTickets.com have been selling tickets for a couple of weeks and we have not made any mention of it on our site. Consider yourself warned!
And finally, in case you haven't heard it from anyone else, there will be an exclusive clip from the movie shown during Heroes tonight on NBC. Although I haven't heard anything about the clip, I would suggest tuning in because I think Heroes is a pretty good show.
